Reasons to be cheerful.

The weather has a direct impact on my mood.  This week has been glorious with sunshine nearly every day, We’ve been able to hang the washing out on the line, go out without a coat, go exploring in the garden and actually turn the heating off.  Though, this being Britain, the forecast for the weekend is a rather chilly one but never mind, we have had proof that spring has not forgotten about us.  All of this makes me rather cheerful.

In fact, this week seems to have been an overwhelmingly positive one, despite both Miss P and I having colds.  Rich passed the renewal test for his fork lift truck licence yesterday and was also asked if he wanted to undertake the NVQ in Warehouse Management.  Having gone from being unemployed when we first moved up here to this in such a short time makes me so proud of him..
It’s also an exciting time for my parents, who have the grand opening of their book stall tomorrow.  It’s taken a lot of courage and faith for them to do this but things seem positive already with several orders and a lot of support and encouragement from people in the town.  Mum also started blogging to record her journey into business woman territory!

And there’s more excitement in store for next week with it being my birthday and our wedding anniversary.  It looks like a, long waited for, iphone will be making its way into my hot little hands.  So with all of this and a plate full of brownies by my side, I can’t help but have reasons to feel cheerful!

I’m linking this up to Mummy From The Heart’s Reasons to be cheerful. What have you got to be cheerful about this week?

About Sian Reynolds

I'm Sian, mother to a three year old who thinks she’s a teenager and a husband who has issues with cows. Both have insatiable appetites and are rather fond of cake. And chocolate. And cheese. Freelance this and that, coffee drinker, food blogger. I seem to spend most of my time in the kitchen, with one eye on the laptop and the other watching the toddler run around with a colander on her head.
