Toffee Pecan Ring

This months challenge for Bake It! was a Toffee Pecan Ring.  I loved the look of it and was fairly certain that it would be a hit in our house.

A doughy ring filled with brown sugar, pecans, chocolate chips and Rolo’s, baked and then drizzled with chocolate. What’s not to like?!

This was quite easy to do but looks impressive. Make the dough, fill it, roll it up, cut and bake but it produced a few ‘Oooo’s’ which are always appreciated!  There was also the advantage that I had to buy the Rolo’s in a pack of 5 so there were 4 packs left over for late night nibbling!

I’m going to send you over to Amy’s blog for the recipe so you can also see the other amazing recipes she has, as well as some fab ideas for things to do to entertain the kids!

About Sian Reynolds

I'm Sian, mother to a three year old who thinks she’s a teenager and a husband who has issues with cows. Both have insatiable appetites and are rather fond of cake. And chocolate. And cheese. Freelance this and that, coffee drinker, food blogger. I seem to spend most of my time in the kitchen, with one eye on the laptop and the other watching the toddler run around with a colander on her head.
